Has your LaCie external hard drive ever given you any problems? I'm almost out of space on my laptop, but I'm not sure I can trust external hard drives...

missquiet - nope, no problems at all with the lacie drive! its a really good brand. the external hard drives are SO cheap these days! i would totally recommend getting one if you're running out of room! you can back up your important stuff on it in addition to having more space for new things.

*note - those are just the gadgets i have with me here in Auckland for the year - all my other pretties are home in storage! waaaa....

I'm jealous of your MacBook, I'm still using my Powerbook G3. (Think Carrie's Computer from Sex and the City). I have the same ipod, except mine is black. How is the ipal speaker?

LaLA0428 - the ipal is AMAZING! i love it so much - very portable, long battery life, excellent sound, and quite inexpensive: $120...i think they are cheaper now, though. they have different styles now too and different models. i basically love all tivoli products! the radio on it is great too. i also like how it looks. Smiling

i used to have a powerbook g4 for about 6 years, and just got the macbook last november (2006).

Lala - i don't own a good set of headphones, just the ones that come with an ipod! i don't listen to my music alone when i am home so have no need for a good set. sorry!
