If you live in Oregon, sometimes a rainy Saturday can be a bummer, but a trip to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) can provide for some pretty good entertainment. It's a museum geared towards educating children in all areas of science, although I still enjoy every single new exhibit and all the classics from my childhood and I'm 24-years-old! Anyway, this weekend my best friend and I challenged each other to a bridge building contest. The object was to construct a bridge using only plain white computer paper and see how your design would hold up after weight was placed on it. Well, after my bridge collapsed, and my friend's bridge was holding up the wooden blocks OMSI provided for us...we decided to start pulling stuff out of our purses. And of course our bags were full of the things we carry with us at all times, including our favorite gadgets! The picture below is littered with our personal items, you may see our cell phones, an Olympus digital camera, my ipod and one of my most treasured pieces: My Kenwood stereo face plate in it's sleek, yet protective case.
Three cheers to geeky bridge building on a rainy Saturday and to my favorite gadgets!
